Before she books, she's doing quiet research at midnight — wanting to know whether she'll feel safe, supported, and comfortable in the body she has right now. These posts answer that first: how a session actually runs, what to wear, how posing is guided, how privacy works, how images are chosen, and how women travelling in from Idaho, Wyoming and Nevada plan the trip.

The Part Nobody Warns You About
The reveal, and the drive home after.
Two hours in, you'll have stopped thinking about your arms. You'll be laughing at something Shanna said, mid-pose, with a fan going and music on.
Then you sit down at your reveal, the first frame comes up, and there's a pause — because the woman on that screen is you, and nobody warned you she looked like that. Most women cry a little. Almost all of them say the same sentence on the way out: "I almost didn't come."

Quick Answers
The six we get most often.
Do I have to be confident to do this?
No. Most women arrive nervous, and several arrive shaking. Every pose is demonstrated and guided, so there is nothing you need to know in advance. The confidence is what you leave with, not what you bring.
Am I too big, too old, or too "not photogenic"?
No. We have photographed more than 1,500 women, sizes XS through 5X and ages 18 to 70-plus. Posing and lighting do most of the work, and we choose both for your body specifically.
Will anyone see my photos?
Only if you say so in writing. Nothing is posted, shared, or shown without a signed release, and declining costs you nothing.
What does a session actually cost?
The session fee is $399 for women's, maternity and bridal, or $449 for couples, and it covers your studio time and professional hair and makeup. Images are chosen afterward — ten digital images start at $800, and collections begin at $1,895. Payment plans are available through Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay, PayPal Credit and in-house options.
Do I have to wear lingerie?
Not at all. Sweaters, jeans, button-down shirts, robes, bodysuits and fully-covered looks are all common here. Our studio closet runs XS–5X, so you can borrow rather than buy.
I'm driving in from out of state — is it worth the trip?
Women come to us regularly from Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada and Arizona. We're at 629 S State Street in downtown Salt Lake City, about fifteen minutes from the airport, with hotels and dining within walking distance.
