Boudoir After Weight Loss · Utah

Your body changed. That deserves documenting.

Guided boudoir photography in Salt Lake City for women marking a body that looks and feels different than it used to.

Maybe it took two years. Maybe it took surgery. Maybe it wasn't planned at all. Whatever got you here, you're allowed to mark it — and you don't have to wait until you feel finished.

First, The Important Part

You never needed to lose weight to book this.

If you found this page while still deciding whether you've earned a session — you haven't earned it and you don't need to. This studio exists because our founder didn't see her own body represented in boudoir anywhere, and she wasn't waiting to be a different size when she built it.

This page is for women whose bodies happen to have changed and who want that chapter documented. It is not a prerequisite, a reward, or a finish line. If you're at any other point, start here instead — same team, same care, same session.

Why Women Book This

Because the mirror hasn't caught up yet.

A body can change faster than the way you see it. Women tell us constantly that the number moved, the clothes changed, everyone else noticed — and they still see the old version looking back.

Photographs interrupt that. Not because they flatter, but because they're outside your head. Seeing yourself the way a room sees you is often what finally shifts something that months of looking in a mirror didn't.

The scale moved a long time ago. This is the part where you actually believe it.
The Things Nobody Warns You About

The parts you're worried about are the parts we shoot every week.

Loose skin

Extremely common on this page's clients, and completely workable. Posing, fabric and light handle it, and we'll never make it a topic unless you want to.

Surgical scars

Bariatric, skin removal, or anything else. We light and pose with them in mind, and at retouching we ask before changing anything — plenty of women keep them.

Stretch marks

Same answer. They're a record, and they're your call. We won't assume you want them gone.

“I still don't like it”

You don't have to like your body to be photographed well. That's genuinely not a requirement, and it's one of the more common places women book from.

Clothes that don't fit yet

Our studio closet runs XS–5X, so nothing has to be bought, ordered, or squeezed into a size you're not in today.

Not feeling “done”

Almost nobody feels done. There's no correct week and no window you missed — and bodies keep changing after this too.

However You Want It

Covered, classic, or bold — you set the line.

You choose your comfort level before the session, in writing, and we never suggest going further. Sweaters and sheets are as valid a session as lingerie.

Investment

Same session, same price, same care.

Your session fee reserves the experience. Images are chosen afterward at your same-day reveal, from a gallery of 200–400.

FAQ

The questions women actually ask.

Do I need to lose weight before booking boudoir?

No, and we want to be blunt about that on a page like this one. Plenty of women book mid-journey, and plenty book having never set out to change anything. The body you have today is the one worth photographing. See our plus size page if that's where you are.

When's the right time in my journey?

Whenever you want it. Some women book at a goal, some at a milestone, some three years after and only now feeling ready. There's no correct week, and there's no window you missed.

What if my body changes again after?

It will, and that's rather the point. These images document a chapter, not a permanent state. A lot of women come back years later and shoot again, and the two galleries side by side mean something the first one couldn't on its own.

Will you photograph loose skin or scars?

Yes, and without making it a thing. Loose skin, surgical scars and stretch marks are extremely common on this page's clients. We light and pose with them in mind, and we ask before changing anything about your body at retouching.

Do you retouch it out?

Only if you ask. We'll never assume you want something removed. Plenty of women specifically want the marks left in, because they're part of what the session is about.

I've lost weight but I still don't like my body. Is this a bad idea?

It's a very common place to book from. The gap between what the scale says and what you feel rarely closes on its own, and seeing yourself through someone else's lens is often what finally moves it.

What should I wear?

Whatever makes you feel good in the body you have right now, not the one you had or plan to have. Our studio closet runs XS to 5X, so nothing has to be bought or ordered, and nothing has to fit a size you're not.

Can I do this covered up?

Absolutely. Sweaters, sheets, robes and button-downs all photograph beautifully, and you set your comfort level before we start. See our modest boudoir page.

Who will be in the room?

Only your Blushed team, and we're 100% all-female. The studio is private and never shared, so no other photographer and no other client is in the building.

How much does it cost?

The session fee is $399 and reserves your date, your team and professional hair and makeup. Images are chosen afterward: ten digital images from $800, artwork collections from $1,895.

Is there a smaller way to try this?

Yes. Our $349 mini session runs 30 minutes with one set and one look, and five finished images are included, so you know your total before you book.

Can I call before booking?

Please do. Call or text anytime at (801) 797-3156, or book a free consult. Nobody here works on commission.
