Blushed is a boudoir studio. We photograph artistic nude and implied nude — the human body treated as form, light and shadow, the way it's been photographed for a century. We are not an erotica studio, and there is no version of a session here that becomes one.
- No penetration and no bodily fluids. Ever, under any circumstance.
- Posing is artistic and directed — hands, fabric, shadow and angle do most of the work.
- You set your comfort level before we start, and you can move it in either direction during the session.
- Nothing is shared, posted or submitted anywhere without your explicit written permission.
- The studio is private and all-female. Nobody else is in the building.

Most women land somewhere in the middle, and plenty move up a level once they've seen the first few frames on the back of the camera.
Sheets, robes, an oversized shirt. Nothing bare, and the images still read as intimate — this is where a lot of first-timers start.
Nothing actually visible, but the suggestion is there. Fabric, arms, shadow and angle carry it. The most-requested level we shoot.
Some skin, artistically framed. Backs, silhouettes, and the shapes a body makes in strong light.
Fully nude, treated as sculpture. Deep shadow, careful light, and posing built entirely around form.
You are never locked in. Tell us where you'd like to start and we shoot there. If you want to go further partway through, we can. If you want to stop, we stop and nobody makes it awkward.
The Honest Part
What women ask before they book this.
"Who is going to see these?"
Only you, unless you give written permission otherwise. Most nude galleries here are never shown to anyone. That's the norm, not the exception.
"Will it feel exposing?"
Less than you'd think. The studio is locked, the team is all women, and you're directed the whole time — there's no moment where you're standing there wondering what to do.
"I don't have that kind of body."
Nobody does. Fine art nude is about form and light, not about a body type. Scars, softness, stretch marks and surgery all photograph beautifully in this work.
"Is this the same as porn?"
No, and we're direct about it. No penetration, no fluids, nothing explicit. This is the tradition of figure photography, not adult content.
"What if I chicken out?"
Then you shoot covered or implied and you still leave with a gallery you love. Nobody has ever been talked into anything here.
"Do I have to be nude the whole time?"
Not at all. Most sessions mix levels across three looks — one covered, one implied, one further. You keep whichever you love.

That's a completely reasonable answer, and it doesn't mean boudoir isn't. We shoot a lot of modest and implied sessions where nothing comes off at all — same studio, same team, same guided experience, entirely covered.
Privacy, Specifically
These images are yours alone.
This matters more here than on any other session we shoot, so we'll be precise about it rather than vague.
- Nothing is posted, shown, printed in a sample album, or submitted to anything without your written permission.
- Permission is opt-in and specific — never buried in a contract, never assumed.
- Your gallery is password-protected and only you have the link.
- The studio is private during your session. No walk-ins, no other clients, no one else in the building.
- You can decline to be photographed by anyone but the lead photographer.

How pricing works here.
The session fee reserves the day. Images are chosen afterward at your private same-day reveal, from your own gallery of 200–400 images.
Session Fee
Studio time, professional hair and makeup, three looks across the sets you choose, and a fully guided shoot. It does not include images.
Digital Images
Chosen from your full gallery at your reveal. Full resolution, professionally retouched, with print and commercial release included.
Collections
Albums, wall art, folio boxes and keepsakes — for the images you want somewhere other than a hard drive.

Where We Are
Downtown Salt Lake City, discreetly.
629 S State Street — about twenty minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. Park in the alleyway behind the building and come to the grey door. No signage out front, no waiting room, nobody watching you walk in.
Women drive in from across the Wasatch Front and fly in from Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada and Arizona for this work — often precisely because it isn't in their own town.

Nude boudoir questions.
Do you actually shoot nude boudoir?
Yes. We photograph artistic nude and implied nude as part of our women's sessions. What we do not shoot is erotica — no penetration and no bodily fluids, without exception.
What's the difference between implied and fine art nude?
Implied means nothing is actually visible — fabric, arms, shadow and angle create the suggestion. Fine art nude means fully nude, posed and lit as form. Both are artistic; one just goes further.
Do I have to decide before I arrive?
No. Tell us roughly where you'd like to start and we begin there. Plenty of women move further once they've seen the first frames on the back of the camera, and plenty don't. Both are fine.
Who will be in the room?
Your all-female Blushed team and nobody else. The studio is private, the door is closed, and there are no other clients or photographers in the building during your session.
Will my images be shared anywhere?
Only with your explicit written permission, given specifically rather than buried in a contract. Most of our fine art nude galleries have never been seen by anyone but the woman in them.
I don't have a model's body. Is this still for me?
Yes, and that's most of who books it. Fine art nude is about form, light and shadow — scars, softness, stretch marks and surgery all photograph beautifully in this work.
What if I change my mind during the session?
Then we change with you. Cover up, switch sets, go softer, stop entirely — you say so and it happens, and nobody makes it awkward.
Do I need posing experience?
None. We direct every angle, hand, chin and breath, and we show you the back of the camera early so you stop guessing how it's going.
Is hair and makeup included?
Yes, with every full session. The $349 Friday mini is the exception — clients arrive camera-ready for that one.
How many images will I see?
A session produces 200–400 images. You review all of them at your same-day reveal, choose up to 150 for professional retouching, and receive the entire gallery soft-edited.
Can I bring a friend?
For most sessions yes. For nude work, many women prefer to come alone — it's entirely your call, and we'll set the day up either way.
What if I want something more covered instead?
Then look at modest and implied boudoir. Same studio, same team, entirely covered. It's a large part of what we shoot.
