Photographers shooting at a boudoir photography workshop in the Blushed Boudoir studio in Salt Lake City
Boudoir photography training · For photographers

Your photography isn't the problem

If your work is good and your calendar still has holes in it, nobody needs to teach you to shoot. They need to teach you the sets, the site, the search traffic and the sale — the four things that actually fill a boudoir studio.

None of this is a masterclass built to be sold. It comes out of a working studio — 1,500 women photographed since 2011, in a building that started out completely empty.

Or text 801-797-3156 and tell me what's stuck. That's not a sales call.

Why this exists

I never planned to teach any of this

It started with photographers messaging to ask how a corner of my studio was built. Then how I price. Then what I say on a consult call when she goes quiet.

The same questions, over and over — and almost none of them were about photography. They were about the parts nobody puts in a course, because the people selling courses mostly don't run a studio.

So this is that. The sets, the pricing, the website, the sale. Built out of fifteen years of getting it wrong first.

The thing worth stealing

Thirty sets fit in a building that was empty

Most boudoir workshops rent a hotel suite for a weekend. You learn one window and one bed, then go home to a space that looks nothing like it.

Almost every set here is a corner, not a room. Around eight by ten feet. The camera never sees the rest — which is why a 600 square foot rental can hold five or six sets that look like five or six different buildings.

That one idea is the whole reason this studio exists, and it's the first lesson of the course.

The one nearly everyone starts with

$197

Photography Studio Set Design — eight written lessons with photographs from inside the studio, including the ones nobody publishes: a set shot from the doorway showing its edges, the back of a freestanding flat, the storage that sits just out of frame.

Founding price · first 25 only

$97 until the twenty-five are gone

In exchange for feedback on the lessons. After that it's $197 permanently — there won't be a discounted relaunch later.

And the $197 comes off a consult later, if you decide you want eyes on your own space.

This isn't for everyone

You'll get something out of this if

  • You can shoot, and your calendar still has holes in it
  • You're charging $300 a session and you know it's wrong
  • Your work is good and nobody finds it on Google
  • You want a studio and don't know what to build first

Don't bother if

  • You've never shot in manual mode
  • You want a certificate more than a booked calendar
  • You're looking to copy this brand rather than build your own

And no, there's no protected territory. Boudoir is local — your clients were never going to fly to Utah.

Questions

Before you spend anything

Where should I actually start?

The $197 course, for most people — it's the whole method and the fee comes off a consult later. Start with a workshop instead if you learn by doing, or with the $697 audit if the work is fine and the traffic is missing.

Do I need to shoot boudoir already?

No. Portrait, wedding and family photographers come to add it. You do need to be comfortable in manual mode — these teach light, sets, business and the sale, not exposure basics.

Is any of this just for boudoir?

The set design and SEO work are used by portrait, maternity, branding and product photographers too. Only the workshop and mentorship are boudoir-specific.

What if I can't travel to Salt Lake City?

Three things need no travel at all — the course, the $697 Zoom set design consult and the $497 Zoom session. Or I fly to you, either privately or to teach a room you've filled.

Can I split the payment?

Yes, in half at checkout on everything in person. Bigger builds are half to start and half at launch.

How do the in-person days get scheduled?

You book, then we find a date together — around your clients and mine. Fully refundable before a date is confirmed, and you have twelve months to use it.

Why is the private day more than the group workshop?

Because six people split the cost of a workshop and you don't. A private day is the whole studio, a model, an artist and full attention on one business.

When are the other courses coming?

SEO for photographers, website design and boudoir lighting are in production. Text COURSES and you'll hear when each one opens rather than joining a general list.
