A Christmas boudoir session is a full, guided boudoir shoot on holiday-styled sets — a decorated tree, red satin and bows, or our pink 1950s kitchen in its milk-and-cookies edition. At Blushed Boudoir in Salt Lake City it runs as a full session: $399, three looks, professional hair and makeup included, and a same-day reveal of a 200–400 image gallery. Most women book it as a gift and end up keeping it for themselves.

Christmas gift timing.
Christmas boudoir has a deadline nothing else on our calendar has — if it's a gift, it has to be in your hands before the 25th. Here's how it actually works:
- Digital images: yours at your same-day reveal. There is no waiting and no delivery risk on digitals, whenever you book.
- Albums, folios and wall art: hand-made and several weeks to build and ship, so there's a cutoff well before December 25 — earlier than most people expect. If a printed gift matters to you, book toward the front of the season and text us and we'll confirm the current cutoff for your date.
- Running out of runway? A gift certificate is delivered by email and lets her choose her own date in the new year. It's the honest answer when the calendar has beaten you.
The gift that can't arrive late.
Sessions book out weeks ahead and printed artwork takes weeks to produce. A gift certificate sidesteps both — under the tree in December, on the calendar in January, and she picks her own date.

What to wear for a Christmas boudoir shoot.
Three looks for a full session, and we plan every one with you beforehand. Choose fit over size — a well-fitting piece two sizes up photographs better than a tight piece in your usual size.
- Red or white lingerie, satin or lace
- An oversized knit or sweater falling off one shoulder
- A Santa hat or a red ribbon if you want the wink
- Thigh-highs and heels — heels change your line even lying down
- Deep red over bright red; gold jewellery over silver
- Anything sentimental you want in the frame
Sizes XS–5X, in the building
Our studio wardrobe closet runs XS through 5X, so if you arrive and change your mind, you have options. Robes, body chains, gold body foil and angel wings are all here — borrow, don't buy.
Hair and makeup is included with every full session, done in our chair before you shoot.
Your session is completely private. No other client and no other photographer is in the building. Your images are never shared anywhere without your explicit written permission.

If a full session is more than you want right now, we run Christmas mini sessions on six Fridays in November and December — $349, thirty minutes, one set, one look, five finished images, and you arrive camera-ready. Hair and makeup isn't included on a mini, which is what keeps the price where it is.

Can I get an album before Christmas?
Your digital images are yours at your same-day reveal, so those are never at risk. Albums, wall art and folio boxes are hand-made and take several weeks to build and ship, so the cutoff for physical products falls well before December 25 — earlier than most people expect. Text us at (801) 797-3156 and we'll confirm the current cutoff for the date you're considering.
Can I buy a Christmas boudoir gift certificate instead?
Yes, and past the printed-product cutoff it's the better answer. A Christmas gift certificate is $399 and covers her full session fee including hair and makeup. There's no expiry date, so she books her own date in the new year. Several people can also go in together and we'll combine the balances.

How long is a Christmas session?
Three to four hours, including hair and makeup, three styled looks, and your private same-day reveal.
Do I need to know how to pose?
No, and almost nobody does. We direct every angle, every hand and every expression from the first frame to the last. Your only job is to show up.
Is this a gift for my partner or for me?
Either, and often both. Plenty of women book it as a gift and end up keeping the album. Nobody has ever complained about that outcome.
How cozy or how bold can it be?
Entirely your call, from oversized-knit cozy to red-satin bold. We style to your comfort level and check in the whole way through.
How many images do I get?
A session produces 200–400 images. You'll review all of them at your reveal, choose up to 150 for professional retouching, and receive the entire gallery soft-edited.
Will my images stay private?
Yes. Nothing is shared anywhere without your explicit written permission, and the studio is private during your session — no other client and no other photographer in the building.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes. Plenty of women bring one, and plenty come alone. Both are completely normal here.
Do you offer couples sessions at Christmas?
Yes — December is our busiest couples month. The couples session fee is $449 and includes hair and makeup for one person, with a second person available for $100. See couples boudoir.
Where are you and where do I park?
629 S State Street in downtown Salt Lake City, about 20 minutes from the airport. Park in any open lot at the back of the building and come to the grey metal door in the alleyway between Decades and The Arcade.
