Pricing & investment
How much does boudoir cost?
How much does a boudoir session cost?
The session fee is $399 for women’s, bridal and maternity sessions, $449 for couples, and $349 for a Friday mini. It covers prep support, wardrobe guidance, professional hair and makeup, guided posing and your time in our private studio. On a full session, images are purchased separately afterward.
Are images included in the session fee?
Not on a full session. Ten digital images begin at $800, and artwork collections begin at $1,895. You choose at your same-day reveal, after you’ve seen everything. The $349 mini is the exception — five finished images are included.
Why are images sold separately?
So you can see your final images before deciding what you want. Some clients choose digitals, some an album, some wall art, and some a full collection. Nobody chooses in advance and hopes.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay and PayPal Credit, plus an in-house Blushed payment plan you can set up directly with us. See all payment options.
Do I have to buy every image?
No. There’s no minimum purchase and no obligation beyond your session fee. You only purchase what you love.
What’s the cheapest way to do this?
The $349 Friday mini. Thirty minutes, one set, one outfit, five finished images included — and you know your full total before you book.

Booking
How to book a boudoir session
How do I book?
Reserve your date on our booking page, or text and call us and we’ll help you choose. Your session fee reserves the spot.
Can I talk to someone before booking?
Yes. Book a free consult, or text or call us at (801) 797-3156. Nobody here works on commission.
How far in advance should I book?
Popular dates, themed sets and Booty Bus departures fill quickly. A few weeks ahead gives the most flexibility, but reach out anytime — we’ll find a date that works.
Do you photograph couples, maternity and bridal?
Yes — women’s, bridal, maternity, couples, outdoor, themed and Booty Bus adventures. Not sure which fits? Text us.
When should I book a bridal session?
Six to eight weeks before the wedding is the sweet spot. Your hair, skin, nails and final fitting are already dialled in, and there’s room for an album to arrive before the wedding morning.
When should I book a maternity session?
Most mothers book at 28–32 weeks. Close to your due date? Text us and we’ll get you in fast.
See live dates on the booking page.
Wardrobe
What to wear to a boudoir session
What should I wear?
Bring 3–5 options that fit you now and feel like you — lingerie, bodysuits, a white button-down, denim, or pieces that mean something. Our what-to-wear guide has fifty shoppable lists by body shape and by set.
Do I have to wear lingerie?
Not at all. Robes, sheets, button-downs, jeans, jerseys and bodysuits all photograph beautifully. If you’d rather stay fully covered, see modest and implied boudoir.
Can I get outfit help?
Yes. Text a photo of your options to (801) 797-3156 and we’ll help you narrow it down.
What if I’m plus size?
Choose pieces that support your body now and let you move comfortably. Our in-studio closet runs XS to 5X so you don’t have to buy anything, and there’s a plus size wardrobe list in the guide. See also plus size boudoir.
Do I have to buy everything new?
No. Some of our favourite images come from things women already owned — a partner’s shirt, a jacket that means something, jeans that fit perfectly.
Posing & nerves
Do I need to know how to pose?
Do I need to know how to pose?
No — that’s our job. We guide every hand, chin, leg, shoulder, expression and breath from start to finish, and show you the back of the camera early so you stop guessing.
What if I’m awkward or nervous?
Almost every client says this. Awkward is normal, and guided posing is exactly how we turn awkward-feeling moments into beautiful images. If it’s your first time, start here.
What if I cry?
Then we hand you a tissue and remind you that being emotional doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. It happens often, and it’s welcome.
Is hair and makeup included?
Yes, with every full session. Two exceptions worth knowing before you book: on a couples session it’s included for one of you, and adding your second person is $100. On the $349 Friday mini it isn’t included at all — clients arrive camera-ready, and that’s what keeps the price where it is. Booty Bus seats are also come-camera-ready.
Should I lose weight first?
No. This is the most common thing women say to us and the most common thing they regret waiting on. Our closet runs XS to 5X and the posing adapts to you, not the other way around.

Privacy
Who will see my boudoir photos?
Will my images stay private?
Yes. Your images are never shared publicly without your written permission, image by image. Many clients keep their entire gallery private and that’s never been a problem.
Is the studio private?
Yes. Blushed is a private, all-female studio — never rented by the hour and never shared. No other photographer and no other client is in the building during your session.
Who will see my photos?
Only you and your team, unless you choose to share. You control any use of your images, start to finish.
Can I bring a guest?
No guests during sessions unless pre-approved under studio policy — that protects privacy for you and for every other client.
Artwork & products
Boudoir albums, wall art and keepsakes
What products do you offer?
Boudoir albums, wall art, folio boxes, acrylic blocks, magazines, viewfinders and digital collections — all chosen after your reveal. Collections begin at $1,895.
When do I choose products?
At your private reveal the same day as your session, once you can see your final images on a big screen.
Do my images include print rights?
Yes. Every full-resolution image you purchase comes with print and commercial release, so you can print, share and use them however you want. Most boudoir studios don’t include this.
Can I add products later?
Often, yes — it depends which collection you chose. Ask at your reveal and we’ll tell you exactly what stays open to you.

Policies
Studio policies
What is your rescheduling policy?
Life happens — reach out as early as possible and we’ll do our best to find a new date. Session fees reserve your time and your hair and makeup artist, so they’re non-refundable, and specifics are confirmed at booking.
Why is the session fee non-refundable?
Because the moment you book, we reserve your hair and makeup artist and take your date off the calendar for every other woman. It also has to be paid in full for your date to stay on the books.
What happens if I’m late?
Your session starts at the time you booked, and late arrivals lose that time — especially on minis, which run back to back. Give yourself a cushion.
Where are you located?
629 S State Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84111. The entrance is in the alleyway between Decades and The Arcade — look for the grey metal door and ring the bell. Park in any open lot behind the building.
Do you work with clients from outside Utah?
Constantly. We’re about 20 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport, and clients drive in from across the Wasatch Front and fly in from Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, Arizona and across the country.

Do you do outdoor or destination sessions?
Yes — outdoor sessions across Utah’s salt flats, sand dunes and mountains, plus fly-in clients welcome at the studio. See fly-in boudoir.
