You Are Not Supposed To Know How Boudoir Works Yet
Most clients come to us with the same questions: What do I wear? Will you pose me? What does it cost? Will my images be private? What if I’m awkward? What if I’m nervous?
The answer underneath almost every question is this:
We guide you. We respect you. We tailor the session to your comfort level. And you do not have to become someone else to be photographed beautifully.
Pricing & Investment
How much does a boudoir session cost?
Our standard session fee starts at $399 and covers the experience, including prep support, wardrobe guidance, professional hair and makeup when included, guided posing, and your time in our private studio or selected session experience. Images and products are purchased separately.
Are images included in the session fee?
No. Images and products are sold separately after your session during your image reveal. Collections begin at $1200, and you only purchase what you love.
Why are images sold separately?
This allows you to see your final images before deciding what you want to purchase. Some clients choose digital images, some choose albums, some choose wall art, and some build a full collection.
Do you offer payment options?
Payment options may be available depending on your selected collection or purchase. We can walk through available options during your consult or reveal.
Do I have to buy every image?
No. You only purchase what you love.
Reschedules, Cancellations & Timing
What if I need to reschedule?
Reschedule policies depend on timing and your signed agreement. Please contact us as soon as possible if something comes up so we can walk through available options.
What if I cancel?
Cancellation terms are outlined in your contract because your session reserves studio time, staffing, preparation, and resources specifically for you.
Can someone else use my session spot?
In some situations, sessions may be transferable to a friend or family member for the same reserved date and time with a newly signed agreement.
How long does editing and product delivery take?
Delivery timelines vary based on retouching, album design approval, production, and shipping timelines. We walk you through estimated timelines during your ordering appointment.
Do you keep images forever?
We strongly recommend downloading and backing up your purchased images immediately after delivery.

What types of sessions do you offer?
We offer women’s boudoir, bridal boudoir, maternity boudoir, couples boudoir, outdoor destination sessions, Booty Bus adventures, women’s retreats, and custom creative experiences.
Do you offer bridal boudoir?
Yes. Bridal boudoir can include veils, wedding shoes, robes, dresses, lingerie, your partner’s shirt, jewelry, and sentimental wedding details.
Do you offer maternity boudoir?
Yes. Maternity sessions range from soft and romantic to editorial and fashion-inspired. We also offer lifestyle-inspired options and return-with-baby sessions.
Do you offer couples boudoir?
Yes. Couples sessions focus on connection, chemistry, intimacy, and storytelling while remaining tasteful and personalized to your comfort level.
Do you offer outdoor sessions?
Yes. We photograph destination sessions throughout Utah including the Bonneville Salt Flats, Sand Dunes, Pink Lake, mountain lakes, windmills, and other scenic locations.
What are Booty Bus Adventures?
Booty Bus Adventures are destination boudoir road trip experiences that combine adventure, confidence, connection, and cinematic outdoor photography.

Booking Your Session
How do I book?
You can reserve your date directly through our booking page or schedule a private consult first if you want to talk through pricing, wardrobe, nerves, session types, or travel planning before booking.
Do I need a consult before booking?
Not always, but we highly recommend it if you feel nervous, have questions about pricing, are traveling in, or want help deciding which session experience fits you best.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking as early as possible for bridal boudoir, maternity sessions, outdoor destination experiences, Booty Bus adventures, holiday gifts, and retreat experiences because dates fill quickly.
What happens after I book?
After booking, you’ll receive prep guidance, wardrobe support, studio information, and next steps so you feel prepared instead of overwhelmed.
Do you photograph out-of-state clients?
Yes. We regularly photograph women from Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, Arizona, and clients flying in from across the country for the Blushed Boudoir experience.
What To Wear
Do I have to wear lingerie?
Not at all. Boudoir can be cozy, romantic, editorial, bridal-inspired, playful, bold, western, soft, or fully covered. Oversized sweaters, robes, jeans, dresses, button-downs, boots, and meaningful personal pieces photograph beautifully.
Do you help me choose outfits?
Yes. We provide wardrobe guidance before your session and help you choose pieces that photograph beautifully while fitting your comfort level and style.
Do you have a client closet?
Yes. Our studio includes wardrobe options, accessories, and styling pieces available for clients to use during their session.
What photographs best?
Pieces with texture, structure, movement, or personal meaning tend to photograph beautifully. Bodysuits, oversized knits, lace robes, bridal details, denim, black pieces, and flowing fabrics are always timeless choices.
Can I bring extra outfits?
Absolutely. We encourage bringing extra options so we can help curate looks based on the sets, lighting, and overall vibe of your session.
Posing, Confidence & Nerves
What if I’m awkward?
Almost every client says this before their session. You do not need to know how to pose or move. We guide every pose, angle, expression, hand placement, and movement from start to finish.
Do I need modeling experience?
No. Our clients are everyday women, not professional models. The experience is designed to be beginner-friendly and fully guided.
What if I’m nervous about my body?
That is completely normal. We use posing, lighting, wardrobe styling, angles, movement, and supportive direction to help you feel comfortable and photographed beautifully.
Will you help with facial expressions?
Yes. We guide breathing, softness, eye placement, movement, expression, and tiny details throughout the session.
What if I’m shy at first?
Most women are. The first few minutes are usually the most nerve-wracking, but clients quickly relax once they realize they are fully guided and supported.
Privacy & Image Sharing
Will my images be shared online?
No. Images are only shared publicly with your explicit permission.
Can I keep my session completely private?
Absolutely. Many clients choose to keep every image private. Your session experience is still just as meaningful.
Is your studio private?
Yes. Blushed Boudoir is a private all-female boudoir studio in downtown Salt Lake City designed specifically for women’s portrait experiences.
Can I bring someone with me?
To keep the environment safe, focused, and empowering, guests are not permitted during sessions unless it is a booked couples session or approved family portion of a maternity session.
Do I have to sign a model release?
No. Image sharing permission is optional and always discussed clearly before anything is shared publicly.
Albums, Digitals & Artwork
What products can I purchase?
Clients can choose from digital collections, luxury albums, wall art, folio boxes, keepsakes, mobile galleries, and heirloom products depending on the collection they choose.
Do you offer albums?
Yes. Albums are one of our most popular products because they turn your images into a tangible keepsake instead of something that lives only on a phone.
Can I buy digital images?
Yes. Digital image collections are available in multiple collection options.
When do I choose my images?
You choose your favorite images during your reveal appointment after your session.
Can I upgrade my collection later?
Depending on your order timeline and gallery status, upgrades may be possible. We always recommend choosing the collection you truly love most.

Nope! Think of your session fee as your ticket to the experience. All images and products are sold separately and come in curated collections. Our minimum purchase is $1200.n
What if I don't look like your models?
We do not shoot models. All the women you see on our pages are every day women, not models! We pose you from head to toe, coach your facial expressions, and even tell you how to breathe. That will make you look like a supermodel, and better yet, feel like a super model!
What should I wear?
This is probably the most popular question we receive and the answer is simple. Wear whatever you feel unstoppable in. Our style is cozy, beautiful, and classy. We want your images to represent you, so if a bodysuit, oversized sweater, cropped sweatshirt and high-waist panties is more you, then let's rock that for your shoot! If a robe, bondage wear, strappy goodness, leather, chains is more you, then baby, let's roll in those.
Most clients opt for a lingerie set, a cozy set, or "the white sheet" (our absolute favorite to shoot!) during their session. Don't stress too much about wardrobe. We could spend an entire hour shooting a client with no other wardrobe than the bed sheets, the shower, or the bath tub, and they are always stunning.
Once you've completed the booking process, you will receive a prep guide with a list of ideas. You also have the option to wear items from the Blushed Babe Boudie closet.

It’s completely normal to feel nervous! Our studio is designed to make you feel comfortable and at ease. From the warm welcome at the door to the upbeat playlist during your session, we create a relaxed and judgment-free environment. Most clients tell us their nerves vanish within minutes.

Yes, you can! Some clients bring a friend for moral support, though most find they’re more relaxed solo. They can sit with your during hair and makeup but we will ask them to wait in the waiting room during your actual boudoir photoshoot. For couples looking for something extra special, we also offer Couples Boudoir Sessions.
What is in the Blushed Babe Closet?
Our wardrobe is full of items ranging from XS to 5XL, including shoes, boots, jewelry, crowns, body jewelry, robes, wings, bodysuits, rompers, cozy sweaters, leg warmers, body harnesses, and more! These items are meant to be worn in addition to your items you bring. We do not carry bras and panties, so if at minimum you brought a few sets of gorgeous, detailed, lacy, or mesh bra-and-panty sets, we can pair yours with ours!
Where are you located?
We have an amazing studio located in Salt Lake City, Utah. We also do outdoor locations as well as limited edition sessions at various other locations, including Airbnbs in the area.
How far out should I book?
We typically book out 2-3 months in advance. Get on our boudie schedule as soon as possible, but at least 4-6 weeks prior to your special event. Digital images are available at your reveal 7-14 days from your session date.
Can you Photoshop me?
We will do our best to make your skin look amazing with light skin-smoothing, blemish removal, bruise removal and more. We do not do any body manipulation without being asked (and we will try to talk you out of it first)!

The session fee of $299 - $349 includes our time, talents, and treasures to help with planning the perfect day to celebrate you! From planning outfits, complimentary prep guides, in-person consult, OPTIONAL glam makeover, bubbly beverages and treats, a huge heaping dose of confidence, posing from head-to-toe, facial-expression coaching, custom editing, a boatload of giggles, and so much more.
Our images start at $80 per digital image. Prints and products are not included in the session fee.
All session fees are non-refundable HOWEVER, they are transferable.
