Before everything changes, remember this version of you.
Maternity boudoir photography in Salt Lake City — soft, powerful, and fully guided — for expecting mothers across Utah and beyond.
Pregnancy can feel beautiful, surreal, exhausting, and powerful all in the same afternoon. Inside Utah’s largest private all-female studio, we guide the posing, styling, lighting, and pacing so all you have to do is show up.

This chapter deserves more than a mirror selfie.
Your body is doing something extraordinary. It may not always feel glamorous, but it is powerful — changing, carrying, protecting, becoming.
Maternity boudoir lets you see that transformation with softness and reverence: not just a body growing a baby, but a woman still worthy of beauty, intimacy, and being seen. Most of our maternity clients tell us the same thing afterward — they almost didn’t book, and it became the one thing from their pregnancy they’d never give back.
Most women book this while feeling their least beautiful.
If you’re swollen, exhausted, and not recognizing your own reflection — you are exactly who this session was designed for. Here’s what we hear most, and how we handle it.
“I have stretch marks.”
So do most of the women in our maternity gallery. We light and pose in ways that read as soft rather than harsh, and retouching is your call at the reveal — we always ask before we change anything about your body.
“I’m swollen and exhausted.”
Sit whenever you want. We keep water, snacks, and a dirty-soda bar going the whole time, and there is no clock being watched. Professional hair and makeup does the heavy lifting so you don’t have to arrive “ready.”
“I have no idea how to pose.”
You’ve never needed to. We direct every angle, hand, chin, and breath — and we show you the back of the camera early so you stop guessing how it’s going.
“My body doesn’t feel like mine.”
That’s the single most common reason women book maternity boudoir. Seeing yourself through someone else’s lens is often what closes the gap between how you feel and what’s actually there.
“I’m not really the boudoir type.”
Plenty of our maternity sessions never leave sheets, robes, and oversized button-downs. Covered, implied, or bare — you set that line before we start, and we don’t push it.
“What if I hate the photos?”
You see your gallery the same day and choose what you love after — nothing is decided in advance, and nothing is bought sight-unseen.
For the mother who wants to remember how powerful this season really was.
Intimate, emotional, and designed around comfort, safety, and beauty.
First-Time Mothers
Document the transformation before everything changes for the very first time.
Last Pregnancy
Honor the final time your body carries this chapter of motherhood.
Rainbow Babies
Tender images that honor hope, healing, and the journey it took to get here. We’ll follow your lead on how much of that story you want in the room.
IVF & Long Roads
If getting here took years, this session can be as much about what you survived as what’s coming.
A Gift For Your Partner
An album they’ll actually keep. Also available as a gift certificate if someone wants to give this to you.
Heirloom Artwork
Albums and wall art preserve a chapter that only exists for a few short weeks.
When to book maternity boudoir, week by week.
Most maternity boudoir sessions are photographed between 28 and 32 weeks — but the right week depends on your bump, your energy, and your pregnancy. Here’s how each window actually shoots.
Bump is visible but soft. Energy is usually at its highest. A good choice if you’re high-risk, expecting multiples, or want a subtler shape.
Rounded and unmistakable, and you’re still very mobile. Standing, floor, and tub posing are all comfortable here.
The window most clients choose. The bump is at its most defined while comfort, movement, and stamina are still on your side.
Beautifully full. We shorten the session, add more seated and supported posing, and build in extra breaks.
Absolutely possible — call us first so we can plan a shorter, gentler session around how you’re feeling. Twins and multiples usually shoot closer to 26–30 weeks.
Reserve 6–8 Weeks Ahead
That means most mothers book somewhere around 20–24 weeks. It gives us time to plan wardrobe, hair, and makeup before you’re in nesting mode.
The Window Is Short
Unlike almost every other session we photograph, this one has a real deadline attached to it. Once it passes, it doesn’t come back around.
Not Sure On Timing?
Text us your due date at (801) 797-3156 and we’ll tell you which weeks are open and which we’d recommend.
See the Blushed experience in motion.
Studio energy, posing direction, glam, and the guided experience that helps clients feel comfortable long before the camera comes out.

Soft, supportive, and bump-honoring.
Wardrobe should help you feel beautiful and comfortable while highlighting the shape and softness of pregnancy. And nothing has to fit — sheets and open robes are the most-photographed maternity look we shoot.
- Open robes and sheer layers
- Soft bodysuits and simple lingerie
- White sheets and flowy draping
- Oversized button-down shirts
- Jewelry, keepsakes, or your partner’s shirt
- Your first ultrasound photo — clients bring these more often than you’d think
Our in-studio closet runs XS–5X. Maternity bodies change fast, so tell us your due date when you book and we’ll pull pieces that will still fit you the week of your session.

Your maternity images can be completely private.
Some clients share their maternity boudoir images proudly. Others keep the entire gallery private forever. Both choices are honored, and neither one gets a raised eyebrow.
Nothing is posted, shown, or submitted anywhere without your written permission. Your body, your baby, your story, your boundaries.
How pricing actually works here.
We don’t sell packages before you’ve seen a single photo. Your session fee reserves the day and your hair and makeup artist. Everything else is chosen at your same-day reveal, from your own gallery of 200–400 images.
Session Fee
Covers your studio time, your all-female team, prep support, professional hair and makeup, and the fully guided maternity photoshoot. It does not include images.
Digital Images
Choose your ten favorites from the full gallery at your reveal. Full resolution, professionally retouched, with print and commercial release included.
Collections
For mothers who want albums, wall art, folio boxes, or a keepsake to hand your child one day. Payment plans are available, including Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay, and in-house options.
We are not the cheapest maternity photographer in Utah. Here’s what the difference buys.
If you have four studio tabs open right now, this is the part that actually separates them.
The Entire Studio Is Yours
4,500 square feet, 30+ signature sets, never rented by the hour and never shared. No other photographer and no other client is in the building during your session — which matters more at 32 weeks than it does at any other time.
You See Everything The Same Day
No waiting six weeks to find out whether it went well. You view your full gallery before you leave, and you choose from what’s actually in front of you.
200–400 Images To Choose From
Not the 50–80 that some studios call a full gallery. A cheaper all-in package usually means a fixed handful of images picked for you — and no say in whether they’re the ones you love.
Full-Res Files, Print & Commercial Release
Every digital image you buy is yours to print, share, and use. Most boudoir studios in this market don’t include that.
Downtown Salt Lake City, and worth the drive.
Our studio is at 629 S State Street in downtown Salt Lake City — about 20 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport, and walking distance from downtown hotels and dining.
Along The Wasatch Front
Mothers drive in from Provo, Orem, Lehi, Ogden, Layton, Park City, Saratoga Springs, Riverton, Logan, and St. George. Most make an afternoon of it.
Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada & Arizona
We regularly photograph mothers from Idaho Falls, Jackson Hole, Boise, Las Vegas, and northern Arizona. Tell us your travel window and we’ll build your date around it.
Flying In
Clients fly in from across the country. We’ll help you time the session against your flights, your energy, and how far along you are — and help plan the rest of the trip.
Call us and we’ll plan it around your pregnancy.
Ask about timing, comfort, wardrobe that fits, studio sets, payment options, privacy, hair and makeup, or what happens if the baby has other plans. Nobody here works on commission.
Maternity boudoir questions.
When should I book maternity boudoir?
Most maternity boudoir sessions are photographed between 28 and 32 weeks. Because we recommend reserving 6–8 weeks ahead, most mothers book around 20–24 weeks. If you’re expecting multiples or you’re high-risk, we usually shoot earlier — call us and we’ll plan it with you.
How long is a maternity session?
Plan on about 3–4 hours from arrival to your image reveal. That includes professional hair and makeup, wardrobe planning, and a fully guided shoot with up to three different looks. It is never rushed, and you can sit down whenever you need to.
Is maternity boudoir safe during pregnancy?
We use gentle, comfort-focused posing, limit time flat on your back, and adapt everything to your body on the day. If you have any restrictions or medical concerns, check with your provider before booking — and tell us what they said so we can plan around it.
What if I go into labor or get put on bed rest before my session?
Call us the moment you know. Session fees are non-refundable because they reserve your hair and makeup artist for that date, but we will always work with you on moving to a new date or shifting the session to a postpartum session instead. Nobody loses their session over a pregnancy doing what pregnancies do.
How much does maternity boudoir cost in Utah?
The session fee is $399 and reserves your date, your team, and your professional hair and makeup. Images are chosen after your session at your same-day reveal — digital images start at $800 for ten, and collections with albums and wall art begin at $1,895. More on boudoir pricing here.
Are any images included with the session fee?
No — and we say that plainly so nothing surprises you later. The session fee covers the experience. You’ll view a gallery of 200–400 images the same day and choose the ones you actually love, rather than paying in advance for images you haven’t seen.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay, PayPal Credit, and in-house plans are available depending on what you choose. See payment options.
Is hair and makeup included?
Yes. Professional hair and makeup by our in-house team is included with every in-studio session, so you arrive as you are and leave camera-ready.
What should I wear, and what if nothing fits?
Open robes, soft bodysuits, sheets, oversized button-downs, simple lingerie, and flowy fabric all photograph beautifully — and none of it has to fit properly. Our studio closet runs XS–5X. Send us your due date and we’ll pull pieces sized for the week you’ll actually be here.
Do I have to be nude?
No. You choose your comfort level before we start and we don’t push past it. Many maternity sessions stay entirely in sheets, robes, and lingerie.
Can my partner be in some of the photos?
Yes — many mothers add partner images to their maternity session. Let us know when you book so we can plan the time and the wardrobe. If you want the whole session to be the two of you, look at couples boudoir instead.
Do I need to know how to pose?
No. We fully guide posing, hand placement, expression, angles, and movement. Most clients tell us this was the part they dreaded and it turned out to be the easiest.
Will my images stay private?
Yes. Nothing is shared, posted, or submitted anywhere without your written permission, and many clients keep their galleries completely private.
Do you photograph mothers who fly in?
Regularly. Our studio is about 20 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport, and we’ll help you plan timing, wardrobe, and the rest of the trip around how far along you are.
Can I call before booking?
Yes. Call or text us anytime at (801) 797-3156, or book a free consult.
What comes next.
This chapter is temporary. The images do not have to be.
Soft, powerful, guided, private, and unforgettable. Call, text your questions, or reserve your date — the window closes on its own.
