Salt Lake is four and a half hours north — so we plan it as two days, not a rushed errand. Hotel, session, reveal, and the drive home with something to show for it.
Four And A Half Hours, Honestly
Nobody drives this far for a nice photo.
They drive it because Washington County is small, because they've been thinking about this for two years, and because doing it three hundred miles from home is the version they can actually go through with.
What's waiting at the end is a 4,500 square foot studio with more than thirty permanent sets built into it — the Rain Room with real falling water, a clawfoot Bath House, the Red Room, a Speakeasy bar, the Bordello, dark academia, neon, a piano room. Most sessions move through three to five, which is why one gallery from here looks like several different shoots. There is nothing of that scale south of Salt Lake, and there isn't much of it anywhere.
So we don't pretend the drive is nothing. We plan around it instead: an overnight, a mid-morning start, and a reveal the same day so you're never waiting three weeks and three hundred miles to see how it went.

Drive up, sleep in town
Leave after lunch, arrive early evening, stay downtown within walking distance of the studio. Dinner somewhere good, an early night, and no alarm set for four in the morning. Arriving rested changes how the entire session goes — tired shows in photographs more than anything else does.
Session, reveal, drive home
Mid-morning start. Ninety minutes of hair and makeup, two to three hours of shooting across three to five sets, then your reveal the same afternoon. You leave having already seen and chosen your images, and you're home by evening.
Bring someone, or add a day
Pairs book back-to-back sessions and split the driving. Some clients add an outdoor session — the Salt Flats, sand dunes or Pink Lake — and make it a proper trip rather than an appointment.
What Usually Stops People

"That's a long way to go and hate the photos."
Which is exactly why the reveal is the same day, with your team in the room. You choose your images in person, you see them properly, and nothing is bought sight-unseen. If a look isn't working during the session, we change it while you're still standing there — not afterward.
"I should lose weight first."
The single most common thing women say to us, and the single most common regret afterward. We've photographed sizes XS through 5X and ages eighteen to seventy-plus. Posing and lighting are chosen for the body in the room that day.
"Everyone in my town would know."
They won't, from us. Nothing is posted, shared or shown without a signed release, and declining costs you nothing at all. Being three hundred miles from home is the other half of that answer, and it's a real one.
"I don't want to be in lingerie."
Then you won't be. Sweaters, jeans, an oversized button-down, robes, bodysuits, a sheet. Whole sessions are shot without going past shoulders and collarbones. You set the line before you drive up and we plan every set around it.
The Drive Home
Three hundred miles is a long time to sit with it.
The drive up is the nervous one. You'll rehearse reasons to turn around somewhere near Beaver, and you won't.
Then it's the next morning, someone's doing your hair, and you're laughing about something unrelated. By the second set you've stopped holding your stomach in. There's music and a fan going and a voice across the room calling small corrections. Nothing about it asks you to already be good at this.
The reveal comes before you leave. First frame, a pause, and most women cry a little here. Then you get in the car with four and a half hours ahead of you and nothing to do but think about what you just saw. Every southern-Utah client tells us the same thing about that drive: it's the best one they've ever made on I-15.

Three to five different sets
The reason the drive pays. One session, several completely different galleries, none of which look like the same wall repeated.
200–400 images shot
You review the whole gallery, choose up to 150 for full retouching, and receive every frame soft-edited. Most Utah studios deliver 50–80 total.
A same-day reveal
Non-negotiable when you're travelling. You see and choose your images before you get back on the freeway.

Getting Here From Southern Utah
629 S State Street, downtown Salt Lake City.
St George is I-15 north the whole way, about four and a half hours. Cedar City is closer to three and a half, Beaver about three, Richfield around two and a half. If you'd rather fly, St George Regional runs to Salt Lake City International and the studio is about fifteen minutes from the airport.
Park in the lot, walk down the alleyway, and look for the unmarked grey door. There's no signage on the building — that's deliberate. Hotels and restaurants are within walking distance, which is why we suggest staying the night before rather than driving up the same morning.

Is it really worth driving from St George for a boudoir session?
That's your call, but here's the honest case: it's a 4,500 square foot studio with more than thirty permanent sets, an all-female team, hair and makeup included, and a same-day reveal so you never drive home wondering. Most sessions use three to five different rooms, which is why one gallery looks like several shoots rather than one wall.
Should I drive up the same morning or stay the night?
Stay the night if you possibly can. A four-and-a-half-hour drive starting at five in the morning shows in the photographs, and arriving rested changes how the whole day feels. Downtown hotels are within walking distance of the studio.
Can I fly instead?
Yes. St George Regional connects to Salt Lake City International, and we're about fifteen minutes from the airport. Some clients fly up the evening before and back the following night.
How long do I need to be in Salt Lake?
Plan on an overnight plus most of one day. The session runs four to five hours from arrival to reveal, and it's easiest to start mid-morning after a night in town.
Can I add an outdoor session while I'm up here?
Yes, and travelling clients often do. The Salt Flats, the sand dunes and the Pink Lake are all within reach of Salt Lake, and adding one turns the trip into something worth the miles twice over. Availability is seasonal, so ask early.
Can I bring a friend and both shoot?
Very common with southern-Utah clients — you split the driving, split the hotel, and book back-to-back sessions. Whoever isn't shooting waits in the lounge.
I'm getting married. Is this the right page?

What if the weather closes I-15?
Then we reschedule, and we don't make it difficult. Tell us as soon as you know. Winter travel from the south is a known factor and we plan around it rather than penalising it.
How far ahead should I book?
Six to eight weeks is the general guidance, and further for travelling clients so you can hold a hotel and pick a date that isn't a holiday weekend on I-15.
Will there be men in the building?
No. The team is 100% all-female and yours is the only session booked in that window. No shared waiting area, nobody else on site.
