Galentine's Boudoir: Book It With Your Friends
Here is something we've learned from photographing more than 1,500 women: the ones who arrive with a friend are almost never the nervous ones. Not because they were braver to begin with, but because it is very difficult to feel self-conscious in a room where somebody is loudly on your side.
Can you book a boudoir session with friends? Yes. Two to four of you book consecutive mini slots on the same Friday and the same set, at $349 each. You shoot individually — thirty minutes, one set, five retouched images each — and the rest of the group waits in the studio between turns.
How it works
Pick a Friday and a set from this season's ten, then book consecutive thirty-minute slots on the same calendar. Each of you gets a complete, individually guided session and five retouched images of your own.
Nobody shoots together unless you specifically want that. What you share is the day — the getting ready, the waiting, the reactions when someone comes back out of the studio looking slightly stunned.
If you'd like the slots held side by side rather than scattered across the day, text us on 801-797-3156 before you book and we'll sort it.
Why it works so well for first-timers
The hardest part of a boudoir session is not the camera. It's the walk from the car to the door.
Doing that walk with someone else removes most of the friction. It also removes the private negotiation a lot of women have with themselves in the week beforehand — the one that ends with cancelling. It's considerably harder to talk yourself out of something your friend is also doing.
If it's your first time, our first-time guide covers what actually happens, minute by minute.
Which sets suit a group
Any of them, but a few are particularly good for it.
- Sweetheart Kitchen — the retro pink kitchen with heart sugar cookies. Nobody stays self-conscious in a kitchen full of frosting.
- Bows & Bears — pink seamless, oversized teddy bears, giant bows. Playful rather than sultry, which is the easiest possible entry point.
- Rosé & Roses — the candlelit rose petal milk bath. The most covered set we shoot, and the one anxious first-timers keep choosing.
Everyone in the group shoots the same set on the day, so it's worth a group conversation before somebody books.
The bit nobody plans for
Watching your friend see her own images. It happens at the same-day reveal, and it is regularly the part people talk about afterwards more than their own session.
There is something specific about seeing someone you have known for fifteen years look at a photograph of herself and go quiet. Most of us have never once seen a friend look at herself kindly. It changes how you look at your own images ten minutes later.
Practical details
- $349 each, including five retouched images per person.
- Thirty minutes each, one set, one outfit. Arrive camera-ready — hair and makeup is included with full sessions only.
- Sessions start exactly on time, so build in a buffer for parking.
- The studio is entirely private and the team is entirely female. No other clients, no one else in the building.
- Images are shared only with each person's own written permission — including within your group.
That last point matters more than it sounds. What one of you decides about her own images has nothing to do with what anyone else decides about hers.

Galentine's questions
Can we book a boudoir session together with friends?
Yes. Two to four of you book consecutive thirty-minute mini slots on the same Friday and the same set, at $349 each. You shoot individually and wait together between turns.
Do we shoot at the same time?
No, unless you specifically want that. Each session is individual and fully guided, so you each get complete attention and your own five retouched images.
Can we all pick different sets?
Not on the same day. Each Friday runs specific sets, so the group shoots whichever set you book together. Different friends can book different Fridays if you'd rather.
Is there a group discount?
Each session is $349. Text the studio on 801-797-3156 before booking and we'll hold your slots consecutively so the day runs together.
Will my friends see my photos?
Only if you choose to show them. Images are shared solely with each person's own written permission, and that applies within your group as much as anywhere else.
