Buy for your body now.
Pieces that look beautiful online often feel awful on. Your session is easier when you can breathe, move, arch, sit and laugh without adjusting.
- Bring 3–5 options, not eight
- Fit now, not “goal body”
- One simple option, always
- Nothing that needs constant adjusting
Three things that make posing harder.
Text us a photo of your options.
We’ll help you narrow down the best pieces for your body, your session style, and the sets you love.
What-to-wear questions.
How many outfits should I bring?
Bring 3–5 options if possible. We’ll help choose what works best for your session flow.
Do I have to wear lingerie?
No. Button-downs, robes, jeans, bodysuits, sheets, jackets and meaningful personal items all photograph beautifully. If you’d like to stay fully covered, see modest and implied boudoir.
What if I’m plus size?
Choose pieces that support your body now and let you move comfortably. Our studio closet runs XS to 5X, and there’s a Plus-Size Favorites list too.
Do I have to buy everything new?
Not at all. Some of our favorite images come from pieces women already owned — a partner’s shirt, a jacket that means something, jeans that fit perfectly.
What should I wear for a themed mini session?
One strong signal is enough — a color, a texture, or a single accessory. The set carries the theme, so a costume-shop look isn’t necessary.
What should my partner wear for a couples session?
Simple and well-fitted — dark denim, a plain tee, or a clean button-down. Avoid large logos and busy patterns.
How do I know which cuts suit my shape?
Take the two-minute Body Type Style Finder above — six questions and you’ll get a shape-specific list, plus what to borrow from our closet instead of buying.
Can I send outfit photos before my session?
Yes. Text us at (801) 797-3156 and we’ll help you narrow your options.
