I'm turning 48. So 48 women get a full boudoir session for $48 instead of $399.
Images are chosen and purchased separately at your reveal. Nothing is required, and nothing is a surprise.

What $148 covers, and what it doesn't
Most studios hide this until you're sitting in the sales room. We'd rather you know now.
Images are separate. You'll see your gallery the same day you shoot and choose what you want then. Product collections start at $1,895 and go up depending on what you have made. Ten digital images are $800, and single images below that minimum are $100 each.
We keep the session and the images apart on purpose. Bundling them means charging every woman for a package she may not want. This way $148 gets you photographed, and the rest is your call once there's something real to decide about.
Regular session fee is $399. The $48 replaces it, so there's no balance due later. Session fees are non-refundable. Full sessions only; our $349 mini sessions aren't part of this.

I don't know how to pose
Nobody does. That's the job. We tell you where your chin goes, where your hands go, when to breathe. You are directed from the first frame to the last and never have to invent anything.
I'm not photogenic
What people call photogenic is mostly lighting, angle, and someone who knows what they're doing behind the camera. We've spent fifteen years learning how to light a woman who has never liked a photo of herself.
I should lose weight first
We've photographed over 1,500 women and not one arrived at the body she thought she needed. The wardrobe closet runs XS through 5X and it's yours to raid. Come as you are.
I'm not the boudoir type
You pick your comfort level. Soft and fully covered, classic, or bold. Most women land somewhere in the middle and change their minds halfway through, and we build the session around where you actually are.
Who is going to see these?
Only you, unless you tell us otherwise in writing. The team is all female, the studio is private with no walk-in traffic, and sharing is a conversation we have at your reveal — never before, never assumed.
What if I hate the photos
You'll see them the same day, on a big screen, with us. That's deliberate. Women cry at this part more often than not, and it is almost never about the lighting.
What a full session includes
The $48 buys the same session every woman books at $399.
Hair and makeup in-house
Our own artists, in the studio the morning of. This is the $100, and it's the difference between liking your photos and not being able to stop looking at them.
The wardrobe closet, XS to 5X
Bring what you love or bring nothing and shop the rack when you get here. Body chains, angel wings, gold body foil and neon body paint are all sitting there too.
Multiple sets in 4,500 square feet
More than thirty built sets under one roof. You'll shoot several looks in several rooms, not one corner with a backdrop.
Guided posing, start to finish
Every frame is directed. You're shown poses on a screen and walked into them one at a time.
An all-female team, and a drink in your hand
Photographer, hair and makeup, everyone in the building. There's a dirty soda and mocktail bar, because four hours is a long time and this should feel like a good day.
Your same-day reveal
You see two to four hundred images before you leave and choose what you want with us in the room, every price in front of you. Anything you purchase comes with full-resolution files and a print and commercial release.
How the day actually goes

Pick your date and pay the session fee plus hair and makeup. That's everything due up front.
We talk before you come in
You'll get your prep guide, and we'll go over wardrobe, sets and what you want out of the day.
You arrive and get done up
Hair and makeup first, with a drink from the dirty soda bar in your hand. This is the part women say they didn't expect to love.
We shoot
Several looks, several sets, fully directed. Somewhere in the second hour you stop being nervous and start having fun. We can nearly set a clock by it.
You see everything the same day
Your reveal happens before you leave, and you choose your images then with no pressure to take any of them.
It isn't the photos. It's the drive home.
Women walk out of this building differently than they walked in. They sit up straighter in the car. They text somebody from the parking lot. Some cry a little on State Street and are slightly embarrassed about it, and we've stopped being surprised.
Whatever you've been telling yourself about your body, four hours in this studio has a way of interrupting it. Not because we fixed anything, but because for one afternoon somebody pointed a camera at you like you were worth the trouble.
That's what the $48 is actually for.

Questions about the $48 session
Is the $48 a deposit?
No. The $48 is the entire session fee, replacing the usual $399. There is no balance due later on the session itself. The only other thing owed at booking is the $100 hair and makeup fee, which brings your total to $148.
Do I need a code?
Yes. Enter MAKEAWISH at checkout and it drops the session fee from $399 to $48. If you don't see the total come down to $148, stop and text us at 801-797-3156 before you pay rather than checking out at full price.
Is hair and makeup really required?
Yes, and it's the one thing we won't budge on. Professional hair and makeup is the difference between photos you like and photos you can't stop looking at. Our artists do it in the studio the morning of your session, so you arrive as you are and leave the chair camera-ready.
Are any images included in the $148?
No. The $148 covers your session and your hair and makeup. Images are chosen at your same-day reveal and purchased separately. We say this on the page, in every email, and on your consult call, because it should never be a surprise in the reveal room.
How much do images cost?
Product collections start at $1,895 and go up depending on what you have made. Ten digital images are $800, and single images below that minimum are $100 each. Everything is shown at your reveal with the prices in front of you, and we walk through all of it on your consult call first.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, for images and products. We work with Klarna, Afterpay, Affirm, PayPal Credit and in-house plans. See our payment plans page for details. The $148 booking total is due up front.
How long is the $48 available?
Through September 30, or until all 48 spots are taken, whichever happens first. After that the session fee returns to $399. This is a birthday promotion and it isn't repeating.
Does my session have to happen in September?
No. You book in September at $48 and we'll schedule your session date for whenever works, including later in the fall. The offer is about when you book, not when you shoot.
Can I use this on a mini session?
No, this is full sessions only. Mini sessions are a different format at $349, running thirty minutes with one set and one outfit, and you arrive hair-and-makeup ready.
What if I've never done anything like this?
That describes most of the women who walk through our door. You don't need experience, confidence, or a plan. You're directed through every pose, and we've spent fifteen years getting good at making nervous women comfortable.
What should I wear?
Bring whatever you love, and plan to use our closet too. It runs XS through 5X and everything in it is available to you. We'll send a prep guide after you book with specific suggestions, and nothing needs to be bought in advance.
Who will see my photos?
Only you. Nothing is shared, posted or shown to anyone without your written permission, and that's a conversation we have at your reveal. It's never assumed and never a condition of the offer.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes, and a lot of women do. Bring someone who makes you braver. Our team is all female and the studio is private, so it stays a comfortable room either way.
What if I need to reschedule?
Text us at 801-797-3156 as early as you can and we'll move you. Session fees are non-refundable, but they travel with you to a new date.
Where is the studio?
629 S State Street in downtown Salt Lake City. Park in the alleyway behind the building and come to the grey door, which is the client entrance. We're about twenty minutes from the airport, and we regularly photograph women who fly in from Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada and Arizona.
