Valentine's Boudoir Mini Sessions in Utah
Valentine's Boudoir Mini Sessions in Utah
Every January, women across Utah start searching for Valentine's boudoir photography — and almost none of them are really searching for photographs. They're searching for a way to feel like themselves again after a long winter, and for a gift that doesn't wilt by the weekend.
Our Valentine's boudoir mini sessions are built for exactly that. Thirty minutes, one set, one look, five finished images you keep. No full day, no all-day commitment, and no need to have done this before.
What is a Valentine's boudoir mini session? A 30-minute guided boudoir session on one themed Valentine's set, in our private all-female studio in downtown Salt Lake City. You choose one outfit, arrive camera-ready, and receive five high-resolution retouched images of your choice. The session is $349. Additional images, albums and wall art are available after your reveal.
2027 Valentine's Mini Session Dates
This season's dates
Each Friday runs two limited-edition sets. You choose your set when you book.
- Friday, December 18 — Rosé & Roses · Red Room & Roses
- Friday, January 8 — Roses & Lace · Cupid
- Friday, January 15 — Sweetheart Kitchen · Bows & Bears
- Friday, January 22 — Bound In Red · His Shirt
- Friday, January 29 — Rosé & Roses · The Heartbreak Club
- Friday, February 5 — Red Room & Roses · Petals & Shadow
Want an album or wall art by February 14? Hand-made products take several weeks to build and ship, so January 5 is the final order date for anything physical to arrive before Valentine's Day. That makes Friday, December 18 the only album-safe session of the season.
Every other date is digital delivery — your five retouched images arrive well before the 14th. If you fall in love with them and want an album afterwards, it simply arrives a little later, and by then it's for you anyway.
Why Valentine's Is One of the Most Booked Seasons of the Year
Some women book because they want a gift with weight to it. Plenty more book for reasons that have nothing to do with anybody else — a birthday that landed hard, a body that changed, a year that took something out of them.
The most common reasons we hear:
- To create a Valentine's gift that still means something in ten years
- To reconnect with their own confidence after the holidays
- To mark a fresh chapter — a divorce, a recovery, a decision finally made
- To do one thing that is entirely and only for themselves
If you're weighing whether it's worth it, our guide to what boudoir photography costs in Utah breaks down what you're actually paying for.
Who a Mini Session Is Right For
A Valentine's mini is the right choice if you:
- Want professional boudoir images without booking a half-day
- Are drawn to one particular themed set rather than several looks
- Are booking boudoir for the first time and want to start small
- Do your own hair and makeup and would rather put the money into images
It's not the right choice if you want multiple outfits, several sets, or professional hair and makeup — those come with a full session. A mini is one set, one look, and you arrive camera-ready. That's what keeps it $349.
What You'll Shoot
Ten limited-edition Valentine's sets run across six Fridays — a candlelit rose petal milk bath, the Red Room dressed in roses, a pink retro kitchen full of heart-shaped sugar cookies, angel wings in blush and gold, and a black room for anyone whose February looks nothing like a greeting card. Two sets run each Friday, and you choose yours when you book, not on the day.
You can see every room in the studio on our studio page, and we'll send you a wardrobe guide for your specific set once you're booked. If you'd like to start thinking about it now, our what to wear guide is a good place to begin.
Boudoir as a Valentine's Gift
Flowers wilt. Chocolate is gone by Thursday. A boudoir album is still on the shelf a decade later, and most of our clients tell us the same thing — they thought they were making a gift, and then it turned out to be for them.
Your five included images are yours to print, share or keep private. After your reveal you can add more images, or turn them into an album, framed wall art or a folio box. Pricing for all of that is on our investment page.
Running short on time, or not sure she'd want to be surprised? A boudoir gift certificate lets her choose her own date and her own set.
Couples Boudoir for Valentine's
Couples boudoir is the fastest-growing part of this season, and it has very little to do with the photographs. Couples book it to step out of the routine and back into eye contact, actual touch, and an hour where nobody is looking at a phone.
It tends to be less about looking a certain way and more about remembering how you are with each other. You can read more on our couples boudoir page.
"I'm Nervous" Is the Most Common Thing We Hear
Nearly every woman says it, usually within the first two minutes. Nerves aren't a sign you shouldn't be here — they're the standard opening move, and they generally last about ten minutes.
You are guided through every pose. You are never left standing there wondering what to do with your hands. The studio is private, the team is entirely female, and no one else is in the building. You don't have to arrive confident — you just have to arrive.
If you'd like to know exactly how the day goes, minute by minute, we've written it all out on the experience page.
Blushed Boudoir is Utah's largest private all-female luxury boudoir studio — 4,500 square feet and 30+ signature sets at 629 S State Street in downtown Salt Lake City. We've photographed more than 1,500 women and bring nearly 40 years of combined experience. We serve Salt Lake City, Provo, Ogden, Park City and St. George, plus clients travelling in from Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada and Arizona.

Valentine's Boudoir FAQ
How much is a Valentine's boudoir mini session in Utah?
A Valentine's mini session is $349. That includes the 30-minute guided session on one themed set and five high-resolution retouched images of your choice. Additional images, albums and wall art are available to purchase after your reveal.
Is hair and makeup included with a mini session?
No. Professional hair and makeup is included with full sessions only. Mini session clients arrive camera-ready, which is what keeps the price at $349. If you'd like professional glam, book a full session instead.
How long is a Valentine's mini session?
Thirty minutes, start to finish, fully guided and fully posed. You'll shoot one set with one outfit. Sessions begin exactly at your scheduled time, so arriving late means losing that time.
When do I need to book to have my images by Valentine's Day?
Your five digital images arrive well before February 14 no matter which date you book. Physical products — albums, wall art, folio boxes — are hand-made and take several weeks, and January 5 is the final order date for anything to ship before Valentine's Day. That makes Friday, December 18 the only album-safe session this season. Every other date is digital delivery.
I've never done boudoir before. Is a mini a good place to start?
It's the most common way first-timers start with us. One set, one outfit, thirty minutes, and you're guided through every single pose. Most women tell us the nerves are gone within ten minutes. You don't have to arrive confident — you just have to arrive.
Where is the studio and where do I park?
We're at 629 S State Street in downtown Salt Lake City, about 20 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. The entrance is in the alleyway between Decades and The Arcade — look for the grey metal door. Park in any open lot at the back of the building.
